The rooms here are bright, functional, and equipped with a study table and multi-channel television, while the bathroom is excellent.

Enjoyed the way our fairly quiet and bright standard double room with double bed and a single bed was. The hotel was in a marvellous location short walk to shops and night life, bars also very close to all sorts of shopping and the central square for what we wanted it for.

The room was welcoming and modern, complete with a single bed, three suitcases plus bathroom.

The hotel is in a perfect and magnificent location very near the center. Early check-in and flexible check-out options are available. There is parking located nearby.

Good hotel, but missed the mini bar and the non stoppable sound of the ventilator was very annoying!

We had a very short stay at the hotel, so unfortunately not many experiences to write about. But, if I go back as a tourist to Karlstad, I could definitely stay at Ibis again.

We had a room with a glazed balcony, which was a nice thing. Unfortunately, however, the balcony had a stink of cigarette smoke stuck to the walls and floor, so as a non-smoker you would not be able to spend time on the balcony on good weather. Fortunately there were other windows to use for ventilation.

The location here is fantastic, very close to a lovely park, and the staff are friendly and accommodating to every request.

The location of the hotel is perfect to train and bus stations and the square. the staff is very helpful in guiding new tourists.

Ideal location - walking distance from train station and beside plenty of good restaurants and the shopping area. Room is clean and comfortable and very good value for money

Improvements could be made to the breakfast buffet to justify the price

Stayed for 1 night in this nice and incredibly friendly place, greatly enjoyed that. Very comfy beds and a work desk and a flat-screen TV with cable channels inside the room. Unbeatable location close to Slipstream sculpture.

My standard room had a multi-channel TV and a writing desk, making it comfortable for relaxing or getting some work done. 🛋️.

We chose this hotel both for convenience - railway and city facilities, and because my wife and her sister had stayed there when they visited family in Sweden about five years ago. For ourselves, this year, it was both convenient for visiting with relatives in the area, and as a place to regroup, and catch our breath on a long holiday visiting with family around Sweden.
